Quarterly update of current topical issues

Bookings are now being taken for the September Quarterly Seminar.

Lucy will share some of her views and insights into the risks and issues JLT Specialty faces and the approaches she takes in leading on their identification and mitigation.

John will talk us through his current challenges in managing information security in a smaller financial services organisation, focussing on practical things that can be done to make a difference in a cost effective manner.

    • Hot Topics & Planning Priorities for 2019

An overview of planning priorities for 2019.

  • GPDG update

Insights on the Group’s ongoing work on cyber security incident response and how to effectively audit it in a consistent manner.

Registration will be from 9.30 am and the Seminar will open with the Chairman’s address at 9.50 am. The morning will conclude with an open panel discussion session and will be followed by a buffet lunch.

Lucy Clarke

Lucy has worked within the insurance industry in the London market for over 25 years. She joined JLT in 2002 and leads JLT Specialty's Energy and Marine teams. She was appointed Deputy CEO of JLT Specialty in the UK in September 2015 and joined the Group Executive Committee in September 2016. 

Matt Cox

Matt leads Deloitte's insurance internal audit and controls advisory team in the UK. Matt has 16 years of experience working with internal audit functions at insurers and other financial service organisations and has performed senior internal audit roles at a number of large insurers.

John Moxham

Head of Information Security

Police Mutual

 

 

 

John is a qualified Information Security professional with over 20 years’ experience and has worked in retail, financial services, healthcare and government organisations.

He is currently Head of Information Security at Police Mutual, where he leads a small team who set policy, promote awareness and provide policy implementation advice to the organisations 600 colleagues.

He also oversees the Information Security aspects of Police Mutual’s third party suppliers and provides leadership in Business Continuity as well.
